We are looking for a committed Social Educator to support socio-educational intervention, inclusion, and the holistic development of individuals, families, and communities experiencing vulnerability or social risk. This role is focused on designing, implementing, and evaluating educational and support actions that encourage social participation, personal autonomy, positive coexistence, and access to community resources. The selected candidate will work with a range of groups, including children, adolescents, older adults, people with disabilities, migrants, people experiencing homelessness, and families facing exclusion, adapting interventions to the specific needs of each case.
The Social Educator will play a key role in identifying social and educational needs, developing individual and group intervention plans, and coordinating with other professionals across social services, education, healthcare, and community settings. The work combines direct support with mediation, guidance, and the facilitation of activities that promote social skills, healthy habits, conflict resolution, civic participation, and stronger support networks. The role also includes ongoing follow-up, incident documentation, report writing, and contributing to program improvement through reflective, results-oriented practice.
We are seeking someone empathetic, organized, service-oriented, and capable of building trusting relationships in diverse and complex environments. Strong communication, active listening, emotional management, and teamwork skills are essential, along with an ethical, inclusive, and rights-based approach. The ability to intervene in changing contexts, prevent risk situations, and foster empowerment processes will be critical for success in this position.
This role may be based in community centers, social service agencies, nonprofit organizations, residential care programs, street outreach projects, schools, or specialized support services. Experience in community intervention, non-formal education, social mediation, and work with vulnerable populations will be highly valued. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to social well-being by promoting transformative educational processes and supporting people in building more autonomous, participatory, and dignified life projects.
